Origin:

After finding out about Reptilidon's attack on New York, Dr. Moor, a scientist from Boston, Massachusetts, decided to create something that could challenge Reptilidon and rid of the threat posed by the giant creature. He decided to create a growth mixture and put it into his pet goldfish, Bubbles, fish tank. After about five minutes, the serum started taking effect. He grew until he had broken his tank and the table the tank was sitting on. He was now the size of a car! Dr. Moor then pushed Bubbles into his pool and then began the next step: creating the robot suit. After months of hard work, the proud scientist was complete. At this point, Bubbles was starting to become too big for the pool. Bubbles had to be put in the mech by using a crane, which he was almost too heavy for. Dr. Moor then showed his creation to the world. People were shocked by the massive robot. Dr. Moor then said into a megaphone, "Okay Bubbles, I want you to shoot that big target right here". But Bubbles did not comply. He stepped on Dr. Moor, killing him instantly. The giant then decided that he wanted to do things his way, so he went towards the John Hancock Tower, and preceded to shoot it with his cannon, causing it to collapse. Bubbles continued to go on a rampage, destroying everything in it's path. He later got bored of destroying immobile targets, so he went off away from the city to go find kaiju to challenge to a battle.
