Bygone is an insanely powerful kaiju from an alternate dimension inhabited by giant monsters, he is as old as that dimension itself and he still lives even after all the other kaiju had died, this is where he gets his name - he is a kaiju from a bygone age. It would be wrong to sympathize with Bygone’s loneliness however, as he is the one who killed all the other creatures in his world. Way back when he had defeated his first opponent and stood over their dying body, Bygone started to sense the life force draining from his enemy, the scent of the life force intrigued Bygone and so he absorbed it as he could do with all over forms of energy. From that moment on Bygone had an addiction for absorbing the life force of others and once he had drained his whole dimension, he tried to enter our world through weak points between realities. However, Bygone is so large that it would take him a while to completely cross over into a new universe, this has led to his downfall because when he is crossing over he is not fully powered, meaning that the kaiju of Earth have been able to kick him back into his own world for hundreds of years. Bygone's latest attempt was his closest when he was almost in our reality and was facing and beating another kaiju, fortunately for us though, Bygone’s opponent became super charged and defeated him with not a second to spare.
