Mother Nature decided to create a being that could assist her in preserving ecosystems around the world by way of strengthening their composition of soil microbes. Mother Nature would normally do all of this by herself, but her energy gets constantly depleted due to restoring areas devastated by kaiju attacks as well as man’s incessant clearing of rainforests. Hence, Marghul was fashioned out of soil, microbes, earthworms, amethyst, and granite for the sole purpose of rejuvenating smallholder farms, forests and barren wastelands on planet Earth. As one version of the amalgam wouldn't be sufficient to cover the whole globe, she made one for each continent.
