Origin:

A puppy wandered off from his crate where he was being offered away for free, and found himself in an alley between a donut shop and a chemical waste processing plant. They shared a dumpster, and it was filled to overflowing. Nibbles, being a hungry, growing puppy, dug in. Once he had grown to 10x his normal puppy size, he realized that a pack of enormous mutant rats were behind him, baring their teeth, and preparing to attack. The poor puppy barely survived the onslaught, but managed to kill every one of them. He then felt an insatiable hunger rise within him, and he ate every mutated rat, along with the rest of the dumpster, then the donut shop and the chemical waste processing plant. He wandered the earth, larger than most, but still a runt to the kaiju world, and had to flee from every battle in defeat until he dragged himself up next to a fat purple kaiju while the big beast was eating. Tubby saw something of a kindred spirit in the pup, and let him share his meal. Nibbles got bigger, and stronger. Nibbles continued to share meals with Tubby for a year, then Tubby began pushing Nibbles away from his kills because Nibbles ate too much. Nibbles, now required to fend for himself, went back out into the world alone, and when attacked, realized that the hits didn't hurt much anymore, and that he could deal out a lot more damage. He was a grown kaiju now, and didn't need a guardian. He was a force all his own.
